yay more footage!

i'm not in love with any of them yet, but i'm also not totally against any of them. i think i want to like Maria but have yet to find a reason to, so she's at the bottom of my list with the little information we have. everything could change at the training camp lol.

this is what my standings are..

Want in most:
1. Ichioka Reina (for her distinctive look, and i see potential personality)
2. Ono Haruka (for her age and voice)

Might want in:
3. Oda Sakura (for her deeper voice, i'm not crazy about her looks but as stated before i think H!P will do wonders for that)
4. Hamaura Ayano (seemed oddly confident for her age and is cute)

Not against them joining:
5. Kishimoto Yumeno (interesting voice, potential looks, also oddly confident for her age)
6. Makino Maria (voice didn't stand out and neither her look nor her demeanor won me over, but still there's something i like about her)

i'd be okay with 2-4 girls, though oddly enough the combination of girls i would be okay with doesn't always follow this ranking lol. i won't break it down as it will probably change with the training camp footage anyway.

Only one of them has obvious stage presence and none of them can't sing. I'm so disappointed Morning Musume needs vocally talented girls. I support the group but their voices are too high and similar to one and other, they need talent or someone with a character voice like Mari,Yossi or hell even Kaori or Rika.

They all sing fine imo. None are ear-splittingly bad singers (thank god) but they're not great yet, i don't think even those standouts you mentioned started out great anyway. As for vocal diversity Kanon, Mizuki, and Riho and the rokkies's voices are very easily distinguishable from each other so i dunno about that...

The usual Morning Musume mantra "watch them grow yadda yadda" applies here i think

the stand outs I mentioned are not based on vocal talents that's for sure but on very unique singing voices. They added character to MM songs which I appreciate. I get you with Kanon (I have high hopes for her ) and maybe even Mizuki but the rest (minus Renai and Sayumi) sound the same imo.

Based on the Satoyama clip, I can't say much. It's a very short footage and I can only tell about some first impressions. But first, I gotta say that I'm surprised with so many few girls and, somehow, on their qualitys. The 10th gen audition alredy had a good selection and I'm happy to see that there isn't any kind of "the fuck is this girl is doing here?"... at least, not that I could see. Also I think (and I want as well) that Tsunku will select another 4nin gen, since that groups full of girls are beeing such a hit lately (thanks, AKB for that)

About Haruma Ayano, I think she's one of my favorites right now. She's pretty damn cute and her voice is good and very different from any other voice in MM right now, and she seems very hard working. Her personality seems a little reserved but she's still young and I think she would be able to learn how to open up. Ona Haruka is another favorite. She seems to have a mature personality that could lead to a secure gen and her voice is pretty decent. And she reminds me a bit of Masuda Yuka, dunno why.. and that's awsome. I actually liked Ichioka Reina, she seems to want to shine and that's great in this idol industry. Her face is very pretty and since she seems to have some kind of dance experience, it could only be a plus to this new formation of MM. Also, she seems stylish. But it would be so wired to have another Reina on the group...

Makino Maria is soooooo cute and seems so.... oh, just cute. But she doesn't seem to have any strong point besides her cuteness. Maybe she'll need to mature a bit before joining, as a Kenshuusei perhaps... Oda Sakura seems to have an intersting kind of voice and some quality in her techinic but she didn't leave any strong impression in me. Same goes for Kishimoto Yumeno. Gotta see a little bit more from these two.

Training camp can change everything though.

I'm gonna root for Hamachan and Reina. And maybe Maria.

Nice to see that one of the NGP Kenshuusei made it into the final selection, it makes that group a bit less pointless.

For starters, what does the Karin fanatics have to say about the finalist lol? Still holding out for Fukumura-style surprise additions or have you guys finally given up now ?

Interesting observation. I also think shes just so cute I noticed something else that alot of people didn't seem to notice. I would like to ask you to have another good look at the video. Look at her body language when she was walking towards the camera

I would also like to point out Tsunku's comment. Maria was the only one that Tsunku pointed out as front girl material. Tho she seems plain in that video clip, she must have something we haven't seen yet to get a comment like that from Tsunku
