It is announced that Wani Books is releasing a Morning Musume. 15th gen book titled "Morning Musume. 15ki OFFICIAL BOOK 2019-2021", to commemorate 2 years since joining the group. It is a compilation of all of their UTB magazine gravure shoots since they joined, plus a new photoshoot as well. Release is July 9th, 2021.

2 years since the 15th gen members joined Morning Musume.

June 22nd, 2021 will mark two years since the 15th gen members Kitagawa Rio, Okamura Homare and Yamazaki Mei joined Morning Musume. In commemoration of this, we've decided to release a book titled "Morning Musume. 15ki OFFICIAL BOOK 2019-2021," which follows the girls up to now.
Their shoot started in July 2019 just after the girls joined the group, and was shot several times in the fall/winter of 2019, spring of 2020, and winter/spring of 2021, capturing the three girls from their still innocent and fresh beginnings to their growth into the true Morning Musume. It's truly a two-year journey.
Many costumes are included, including uniforms for each season. There are also solo interviews and questionnaires looking back on the past two years, a round-table discussion with the 3 members, and messages from their 11 senior Morning Musume members. It's a must-have book to know the past and future of the 15th gen.

Probably because of COVID but it also feels like the idol-glowup for 15ki across the board has been really rapid, or is that just me?

To be fair, On-chan came in pretty glowed up so she's not a really fair baseline but it does feel like both Mei and Homare came in cute, but obviously amateurs, and now it's like... Wham Bam We Are Top Tier Idols, tyvm.

BEYOOOOONDS, who made their major label debut in the Summer of 2019, will release their second official book on August 7th, on 2nd anniversary of their major debut!
In addition to a large volume of new photos, there will also be a roundtable discussion by each unit with "CHICA#TETSU", "Ame no Mori Kawa Umi", and "SeasoningS", a solo interview after their second year, a personal page with selected unpublished cuts from the popular "BEYOOOOONDS" serialization in "Up to Boy" magazine, and a personal page with selected unpublished cuts from their third year. There are also a lot of plans, such as a personal page with a poem on the theme of goals for the third year. Also included is a special bonus : one of the 13 trading cards featuring the members in their various sports uniforms.
The book is filled with the various expressions of BEYOOOOONDS, who have grown even more than a year ago, and the comical cuteness that is BEYOOOOONDS. The momentum of BEYOOOOONDS is not stopping yet!
