About a possible Rio photobook.

…coming, and as everything else gets back up to speed, I'm almost certain she will release a proper photobook by the end of the year. The real deal, not just the "Greeting" DVD or visual photobook that every U-15 newbie does as an introduction. It might be done already, in fact, and only the printing and marketing were postponed.

Previously…

My money is on her getting a 'real' one.

Well if she wants to make a high quality one, it will take more time and can't be rushed. Sometimes members photobooks will require shooting in all 4 seasons. If she started in the Fall, it would be released in Summer.

I think the point isn't the quality of the book or how long it takes to produce. I think the point is that Rio is more physically and emotionally mature than Homare and Mei. Quite a bit more, in fact. <cough> So if she's game, she could sell a lot of photobooks. Let's be real here.

Browsing through Yuhane's photobook, it certainly reinforces it all.
Some of the images in Yuhane's photobook are drawn from the same gravure appearances in UTB earlier in the year.

Fingers crossed.

When she made that determined gesture after proclaiming, "seiippai ganbaritai to omoimasu," I really felt that. XD

I know it would never happen, but I'd like her to do a reenactment of one of Makino's photoshoots so we could see a side-by-side comparison. They could generate some press by having a fake rivalry where she'd quip that she was coming to replace her grandma, and Makino would respond, "You're a hundred years too early to take me on!" etc. It'd be exactly like that Will Smith movie I never saw where he was (I think) getting hunted by his younger clone, except with cute girls instead of aging Hollywood celebs, and more dolphin rides.
