Isn't he still Morning Musume's music producer as well? Or something like that? I remember hearing that somewhere when the announcement happened. They would be the only group he still had an active voice on the musical direction of.

^ Yeah, it was mentioned that he's still the sound producer for Morning Musume.

It makes me happy that he's been steadily contributing across the board though, even if it isn't a ton or the focus of things. We'll have at least 11 Tsunku H!P-songs this year through singles (12 if you want to count the Sharan Q cover), and that's more than I thought we'd end up with after the announcement. I'm hoping he'll have the chance to do something new for Kobushi next year. I feel like that would be a winning combination.

Tsunku's comments on writing Sexy Cat no Enzetsu and Sou ja nai

Tsunku the song has a musical touch and he used saxophone instrumentals. He says he has an image of Mizuki, Kudo, and Oda transforming into a sexy cat. Mizuki does a whisper voice during the interlude.

for Sou Ja nai, Upfront asked Tsunku to make a song for Makino Maria. Maria, Mizuki, Ayumi, Masaki and Oda all have solo parts.

So..... Sexy Cat is good. I've missed this kind of trashy, sexy Tsunku song and I'm not even joking. I loved v-u-den's more "adult" stuff (Aisu Cream to My Purin is one of my fave H!P songs), Melon's Nikutai wa Shoujiki na EROS is great, and even though I never dug Berryz's trashier songs (WANT!, etc), they weren't terrible.

I love that this kind of thing is back. This is 100% Tsunku and it is wonderful. I don't care how shit it actually is, because it's amazing. Please give me more songs like this and perhaps even make a group with adult members so we can have another kind of v-u-den group.

This feels like home. This feels like old Tsunku. I'm so pleased.
