Not all kids keep track of how old their parents are though...
Knowing their birthday is one thing but keeping track (especially when the parent might not mention it every time anyway) isn't the same. I know I'd have to do take a moment to calculate if I was suddenly asked my mother's age. lol And she's not that old, even. Just... that I don't keep track.

I was about to say "How do you not know?" but then I thought about my own parents ages and I'm not sure...

I think my mom is around 53 and my dad is around 51... I think.

I know the years my parents and sister are born, so I could figure out how old they are, but I wouldn't necessarily know off the top of my head so I'd give an estimate rather than take the time to do the math if someone asks (unless it's somehow important to know the exact number).

Yep, same here.
If you were to ask about my parents age, I'd ask you to wait while I go ask them.
It's a piece of data I just don't use on a regular basis so I don't often remember.
