Karin IS the center of the group, it's not like's self proclaimed, but she was put on that place by management.

I know but i don't like Karin as a Performer she just seems so boring. But i know why she's center. It's obviously her look and her cute Voice. If Aina was still there it would look different for sure.

Omg you guys. The article wasn't asking about who is the center singer/dancer of the group. It was taling about the unique selling point that the leader believe the group has.
If I was Miyazaki, I would have said the same thing. Tomoko has a different kind of charm than what Karin has. Recently, her voice and image has been perfect for both Romance no Tochuu and Ijiwaru Shinaide Dakishimete yo. Yeah, Karin is the member who had a pre-existing fan-base and is the image of ju=ju, but maybe Yuka just don't see her as the selling point. Also keep in mind that Yuka is 10x more closer to Tomoko than with Karin.
