the sales reported are separated by editions (as you have shown) and the stores reporting the sales are not exactly the same as oricon's reports. Oricon covers more store and includes the sales at special stores/events I think. I remember there was a time when they say not all sales from events are included, only 30% or something. I don't know if it's still true or not.

^ Pretty sure it's still true, but most can get around it by having official store vendors selling singles at events or simply holding events at/near Oricon included stores.

Regarding the 30% of events thing, as mentioned it would seem they are getting around it by having the events either happen at stores or have reps from them selling. When I went to Japan for kikka's "best of you" release events they either took place in official stores such as tsutaya and Tower records, or, like at the concert in Ugisuidani. Tower records reps sold the merch no doubt they'll be seeking to close loopholes like that at some point in the future again
