What I find interesting is that they're re-recording even the recent Colorful Era songs, you know since Reina isn't around anymore...

This cements the idea of "the current Morning Musume", and explains further that they want the current lineup to be recognized first (and new fans don't get confused with Reina's voice). Also, the 12th gen auditions were indeed "cancelled" for this reason, as Tsunku said this lineup is solid, and they don't need to stir it. It's fine the way it is.

I believe we'll have a pretty stable lineup for at least a year, maybe two... Let's see how this turns out
