I listened to Mellowquad while browsing in another tab. I wouldn't mind the dance so much if the song were about a boyfriend instead of a brother. Would've made it less creepy.
HI-FIN's song is really good, and everyone looks great. Though when the single is out, I'll probably cut out the talking parts.
"Brother! Look at me being sexy!" If they had used "nii-san" more instead, it would have been better since most Japanese girls use it for a guy who is an "older brother figure". I guess to be less grossed out, I just need to imaging they are talking about an "older bother figure" than an actual "older brother".
I really like Hi-Fin's MV. Though i felt like it would have been better if they actually went outside during the MV. The monolouges should have been removed though since it doesn't fit the mood of the song (or at least cut in half)
Say what now? Aniki can be used for people who aren't their actual biological brother either. Using "Nii-san" wouldn't make the song any less creepy or gross either way, as it's in the lyrics that it goes on about family and childhood and whatever. If anything "Nii-san" would just have made it even more creepy and suggestive.
Hmm I don't find it that creepy actually. The brother is getting married to another girl, the lyrics seem to imply the sister is handing him off amicably and wishes them well. I dunno lawl, it's not anywhere near as cringe inducing as some anime could get at least
Could definitely do without that weird sexy thing they had going there though >__> I wanted another upbeat traditional Japanese festival vibe but I guess I'm gonna have to stick with chokkan 2 for that fix a while longer.
The lyrics themselves on their own could probably be a lot better than when it's all mixed together. But in general, even if the STORY in the lyrics isn't too bad, the way it's all executed and put together just... yeah. No.
