Takeuchi Akari's first calligraphy work will be sold as Rakuten NFT art to commemorate her first exhibition.

Today April 14th, ANGERME Takeuchi Akari held a press conference for her first calligraphy exhibition "Koukou Buyou" at the Meiji Jingu Memorial Picture Gallery in Tokyo, which will be held from tomorrow, April 15th. Takeuchi Akari announced that her graduation concert is scheduled for June 21st @ Yokohama Arena. After graduation, she will pursue a career in calligraphy. Her dream is to obtain a teaching license and teach calligraphy at a calligraphy school. A new ANGERME single containing her own solo song will be released on June 14th. Takeuchi "My last single with ANGERME will include a solo song, so there will be a lot to see! This single will be the culmination of my career."
About the graduation concert, she said, "This is the first time for us to stand in an arena as ANGERME, and although it is my graduation, I am happy to stand in an arena with these members, so we hope many people will come to see the concert!"
Takeuchi has been with the group for 15 years since joining as a Hello Pro Egg (current Hello Pro trainee) and 12 years since joining ANGERME predecessor S/mileage in 2011, and has led the group as its second leader since June 2019. On December 20th she announced, "I, Takeuchi Akari, will graduate from ANGERME and Hello! Project after next year's spring tour," and revealed her new dream: "I want to travel the world with calligraphy."
About her future activities, she said, "This is the first time in my life that I will be working alone. I have been singing and dancing for as long as I can remember, so I am scared and anxious to be on my own and go into calligraphy. However, the excitement of being able to do something new is sometimes greater, so I hope to be able to expand a new path with my own hands from now on. I want to be a person who can contribute to ANGERME in the future after graduation," she said emphatically.
Takeuchi, who is currently qualified as an associate fifth dan in calligraphy, has a specific dream: "If I can advance one more dan, I can become a professor with a professor's license. I am working hard to achieve this," she said. "Eventually, when I become a grandmother or something, I would like to open a calligraphy class and teach children in my neighborhood."
Takeuchi's solo exhibition will be held at the Meiji Jingu Art Museum, an important center of Japanese culture. More than 50 works will be exhibited, including newly written works as well as past works and works from her childhood that are being exhibited for the first time.

Apparently some of the pieces at her calligraphy exhibition were available for purchase, and she had a lottery drawing to determine who exactly receives each piece…

It is announced that TV Asahi Channel 1 will exclusively broadcast live Takeuchi Akari's graduation concert at Yokohama Arena on 6/21.
Also announced, Take-chan will host a live broadcast special program before her graduation called "Asamade Nama Takeuchi 2023" (Takeuchi 2023 Live until Morning) on June 11th from 9pm~ till morning.
She has been active not only in idol activities but also in calligraphy, and will graduate from ANGERME and Hello! Project at this performance.
This will be the group's first arena performance, and it will be a stage not to be missed by fans and music fans alike.
Don't miss the highly accomplished dance performance and Takeuchi Akari's last performance as ANGERME!
