In other news, I tested positive for Covid and also have been a little sick in the past few days. It's not that bad. Will likely be home for the week, which I'm not complaining about. I work in person at a school so it's amazing I'd been able to go this long without getting it.

Wishing you a quick recovery, esm! I guess if you're gonna get covid this is pretty much an ideal time. Coupled with the shots you've already had, your immune system should keep you covered through the summer. In the meantime you have a legit reason to hole up at home and catch up on some guilty pleasures.

I mostly have a sore throat. I haven't even been coughing so I legit thought that my throat started hurting because I had to yell at my students so much on Thursday. Got a bit of a fever Saturday evening, but I hadn't had a fever at all in probably 20 years. Other than that it mostly feels like a cold now, with the weird sore throat.

Last night I got up to drink tea and have some brioche buns at like midnight and it was so nice knowing I wouldn't have to get up for work. Well, I did have to to put together some online work for the kids, but I'm obviously going back to bed soon enough.

Thanks! It's just like an annoying cold at this point. I had to cancel my St. Patrick's Day plan at an Irish pub this coming Saturday though, since it'd be too soon to go out to a restaurant with a bunch of people. But I'm also getting a lot of time to catch up on other things at home.

Wow this is quite the nostalgia trip, I last visited 7 years ago. Good to see familiar faces around : P
