Announced on her blog, Morning Musume. '21 is releasing her 2nd photobook "Rio 17th summer" (莉央 17th summer) on November 6th. It will be published by Wani Books again, and shot in Okinawa again. But this time, the whole book is in Okinawa.

Her first photobook, released last year, was an exceptional hit, is going into reprint within a week! This June marked the second anniversary of her debut, and Kitagawa Rio, who continues to grow in Morning Musume '21, has released her second photo book after a year!

Under the theme of "What if Kitagawa Rio transferred to the island?", we captured the life-sized 17-year-old as she is.

She has a wide variety of expressions, from smiling faces to melancholy, which she enjoys from the perspective of a mature classmate of hers who exudes an urban atmosphere. She appears in summer and winter costumes such as school uniforms, swimsuits, gym clothes, yukata, and loungewear, and her white skin glowing in the midsummer sun has a healthy and clean image.

Miyazaki: For Odyssey, we can speak our own opinions. Like I said that I wanted to wear clothes from evelyn. Odyssey lets us self-produce.

For her first photo book in a year, Morito expressed her thanks, saying, "I'm thankful that I've been able to preserve my current self every year for the past few years.

It was her first time to visit Yakushima, and she said, "It's not only the sea, but also the mountains, forests, and trees are rich. It is also famous as a power spot, so I was quite excited. The moment I arrived at the island, the air was different and I felt like I was getting something out of it. There were days when it rained, but I felt purified and empowered, and every day was refreshing."

She continued, "I've also heard that places like this are called at the right time for the right person, so I was happy to think that I was called to Yakushima now that I'm in my 20s."

"This time, I also shot with my dog, Pon-chan, in Tokyo. Her expression may be a little stiff due to her nervousness, but please look forward to the Tokyo part, where you can see her in her natural state, such as in the walk scene and when she wakes up from sleep."

It's been exactly one year since the last one! I'm sorry that I haven't had many opportunities to meet you in the past year, but I hope you'll take a look at this book and look for all the changes in me."

Wani Books let Morito Chisaki's dog be part of the photoshoot though.
