That's horrific. I read elsewhere that one town in Humphreys County had 17 inches of rain in one day. That's more than L.A. gets in an average year.

The east part of the county got over 20 inches. It's surreal. A lot of homes in Waverly were moved right off their foundations. I really hate to see it this way.

Probably a long shot but any chance for this board to have a dark mode/theme of some kind?
It's one of the few pages/apps left (at least that I use) that tends to cause temporary blindness when switching to it.

^^ I re-activated one of the old dark styles. It's not 100% compatible with some minor features on the board (no banner for example) but it might suit your purposes.

I haven't been out since Tuesday, and I want a burger.

But today has been the hottest day of the year (90℉ actual, 99℉ heat index), so I still don't want to go out.

And if I don't want to go out, then I feel bad for anyone else who has to go out, so I can't have anything delivered.

All I have at home is salad fixings and frozen pot pies. I'm sick of pot pies, and a salad would just remind me of how much it's not a burger.

Zingerman's, a local gourmet deli. Great handmade pies, but they're sold only in January and February of each year, so I have to stock up.

It's a trick — and one that I haven't figured out yet — to balance having enough for the whole year and not getting sick of them during that year.

Besides, it would be kind of silly to use the oven when it's so hot outside and the A/C is already running non-stop.
