I don't know if anyone else watches Salem, but it's already been renewed for a second season. It's only had three eps so far.

I hope that means they'll step it up a little with the writing. They've got the "shock and ew" thing down well enough, but everything else still feels a little awkward. I hope it's just a case of finding their feet within the first few episodes.
