I once listened to an AKB48 song... and liked it

Even though they're a massive superproduction based almost only on sales and sex-appeal, they actually don't do "bad" music. It sometimes may be more mainstream, all for the sales, but it's nice and tends to be innovative (both sound composition and MVs). So in general it's something you can be on the following. (Not the same enthusiasm as H!P although)

The last AKB48 single I liked was Gingham Check.
So...let's hear how this single is done!
(Although Heart Ereki wasn't bad...I wasn't feeling it.).

The last AKB Single I liked was probably... um, that one where they're all dancing around the giant tree? Kaze wa fuiteru? Or did Frying Gets come out after that? idk lol.

2010-11 was such a great time for Ackybee. I haven't really liked a release since (though that ending theme to Wreck It Ralph was nice) but to be honest, I haven't given any releases since then a fair listen lol. I do like Sasshi a lot though, so I keep listening in hopes of catching something I like. No matter the sound though, I am interested in seeing Matsui Jurina finally fufill her destiny to become center, they've been grooming her since Oogoe Diamond for pete's sake!

They seem to be testing out a bunch of new centers just to see who can fit the bill. Paruru, Mayuyu, Jurina, Sasshi, Kojiharu. I think Sasshi carries the weight the best though, along with Yuko, mainly because they're media ready.

(Slightly tangental, I feel Jurina's janken win to be a bit to suspicious lol. I miss the olden times when the first janken tourney produced a single with a bunch of nobodies who finally had the chance to shine and gain fans. These last ones with Paruru and Jurina just feel too doctored into higher ups getting the centers they want tbh. But I guess it makes sense. A bunch of green newbies being senbatsu would be bad for biz if they aren't groomed and media ready.)

New center! Get a dress (or lack thereof) on it, stat!

Man, maybe Cyborg Mayu needs to update her arm to this robot instead? She should be taking every janken tournament, but isn't for some reason! Clearly her programming has been compromised!
