Basically, no one but Sayu, Airi and Mizuki sells photobooks?

It's possible that there is a shortage of H!P girls who have a proven track record of profiting on expensively made PB's, especially since the graduation of go to girls such as Eri and Risa.

On the other hand, maybe H!P realizes this and is moving toward more gimmicky photobooks such as the Haruna/Dawa onsen photobook? I would love to see this one be a large seller. If it is, I wonder if it will be turned into a series, each one featuring a different combi.

I'm pretty sure Sayashi can sell photobooks... 2ch says Sayashi had an estimate of about 1,200 people attend her release event for her last photobook (Mizuki had an estimate of 1,100, Ayumi an estimate of 950, and Haruka 550)...

I think it's just hard to get into Oricon's photobook ranking sometimes (They only show rankings for the top 10, and sometimes you can't make it into the top 10 selling even 1,000 copies)..

I don't think all of those numbers are accurate. I remember that Haruka had around 800 people at her release event.

Yeah, I thought those numbers were a bit too low considering the handshake figures. There is no way Riho and Kuduu aren't selling well too. I must say I'm surprised Ayumi is doing well but her photobook is better than what I expected it to be.

on 9/10, C-ute will release their 1st Official Book. a book to commemorate their two Budokan concerts. it will have photos, interviews and stories, 100 Q&A, C-ute history, handwritten messages, pics from the H!P Kids days, offshot photos by Nakky. all crammed in for 910 yen!
