Did they purposefully chose cities/areas where the newer girls are from or all these areas always audition sites?
Hiroshima: Rihoriho
Sendai: Ayumi
Sapporo/Hokkaido: Masaki (but I guess Hokkaido's been good to MM what with Nacchi, Kaori, Mikitty, Konno etc. also being from there).

No, they just went with the biggest cities. (I'd say the capitals of each prefecture but I'm not sure this goes for every site so, just maybe. :b )

Which is probably why she blogged about it.
She said that everyone who went through were a bunch of elementary school kids and that it wasn't something for a high school senior to tryout for (maybe Harunan gave her hope?). She also said that they found out if they passed/failed two hours after they finished the second round.
