I have to say that she seems a lot improved from the last time I checked, when she couldn't even hold a note. A LOT improved. I was also impressed by her effortless "Give Me Five" performance. And she's definitely one of the best idols in terms of looks, period.

On the other hand, there's something, iuno...bloodless...about her performance, like she has no engagement with the crowd or with the rhythm or lyrics. It all feels very detached, at least in that clip. That's what separates her from a Takamina in my book.

My problem with Yuki was always that you could see the artafice. I know that most idols have a persona but with Yuki I can never pretend. Plus her speech last year was pretty bad. That said I admire her ambition and irl she is aparently very nice.

If I was voting this year it would be for Sae since Sayaka isn't participating.
