Pav's doing a nice job of posting topics in this forum.
...granted so far no one seems to care

but still...
So.... I started watching AKB0048. I'm 6 episodes in and it's just kinda whatever. It seems like maybe something will happen later on, but I guess you have to be hardcore AKB fan for it to appeal.

Haha yeah well I get a tiny little bit more reaction than I used to. I shall persevere. I mean, people are reading them, judging by the view counts and thanks I get.
I loved AKB0048, though it sure did start hecka slow. But so many strong, powerful moments. Of course it's all terribly cliche but well.. you know. I like having songs I know and love playing in the background, like AKB Sanjou or Pioneer ..

I head they're getting a second season but aren't two of the VO's graduating?

The second season is already finished.

My bad! So I guess they haven't announced any more?

No, they haven't, to my great despair, and I think the staff was pretty clear about how it was the end for 0048, what with 3 of the seiyuu leaving and all.

Kinda reminds me of the time I bought bootleg copies of Majisuka Gakuen 1 and 2 for the specific purpose of trying to get into the "AKB phenomenon" since the music didn't appeal to me, I thought maybe the girls themselves will.
End result is that I had a bit more appreciation of the girls. I still haven't gotten into the AKB bandwagon (and at this rate, probably never truly will) but at least I'm a bit more open to seeing them.

Majisuka really did a huge part for me to get to know more different girls and having more of an emotional connection with them.

Majisuka was good for that, and the
DOCUMENTARY of AKB48 films have been good for that, too.
I finally got around to watching Acchan's final
Music Station appearance as a member of AKB48. Green Day were on the same episode, and looking at them I couldn't help but think things like "Do you guys have any idea how lucky you are to share a stage with AKB48 on this momentous occasion?!"

Of course Green Day are big stars in their own right, but I still tend to think of them as those teenage kids I used to see playing near the bottom of the bill at
924 Gilman Street back in '89.

Oh man I haven't seen that. Is it subbed somewhere?
And yeah man the DOCUMENTARIES. ARE. SO. GREAT. I gained immense respect for these girls after watching them. I can't wait to be able to watch the last one..
