Have we really become so spoiled as a fanbase that 125k+ isn't enough?
Let us all remember 2010.
(Also this is doing very well for a single that was released so fast after the previous O.o)
(Also this single did way better than the big three of 123/Wakuteka/Help me that helped reestablish MM in popular culture)

Also, after so much of the promotional budget was spent on the last album.

Also it's probably doing really well on Recochoku, a place we don't really have numbers for and a place where MM never used to chart at all.

Strictly sales numbers wise, I'm very well satisfied.
My personal expectations though, Tokisora is one of the best song from Morning Musume EVER and Password is 0 is very heavily promoted being a CM song and all so just talking about relative comparisons, I fully expected it to be above other recent releases.
So yeah...that part didn't work out but it did do great still.

wait thats a good point though.
that there's an increase in digital sales, shows that there's an increase in younger fans.
i was just expecting this single to be sell only a little less than Wagamama but it ended up being only 119k, which is still somewhat of a drop nevertheless. its nothing to worry about, but im just kinda curious/anxious about it.
I mean I wasnt expecting the commercial tie-in to do anything especially since Kyary also endorses AU but her singles dont sell too great haha.
but in regards to youtube, the same online hype that we have from a few years back isnt really helping the videos bump up to a million yet despite the CM tie-in, CDTV, Music Station and whatnot promotion. maybe it was because of those online articles, like how it worked for Zukki's individual profile, when they talked about Help Me and Wagamama's dance formations it really boosted views.

^ Actually youtube changed the way it counts views in feb/march so that "fraudulent" views don't count i.e. multiple views.

I think one of the reason for "less than expected" second week is because we didn't have one of those "X consecutive #1" release events.

We can blame Gangnam style for that
