I don't believe that's true. The CM deal certainly increased their exposure and drove some sales, and I'm sure Dentsu threw their weight around as well, but the fact remains that Morning Musume has gotten five #1 hits in a row. They're a hot group right now, by any reasonable standard, so it would be strange for Music Station not to have them on.
