^ I don't recall which shows were on which nights, but I do remember the "Sci-Fi Saturday" concept, so yeah, they must've changed the schedule sometime after 1987. At any rate, the British sci-fi and Britcoms on KTEH were an important part of our TV viewing back in those days.
Channel 54 generally has very poor reception (if any) in Berkeley, but if you're on the southern side of one of the high-rise dorms, you can get it quite well. So when the time came to request dorm rooms for the coming school year, that was always the most crucial factor. After my friends and I moved out of Cunningham Hall, I wasn't able to watch KTEH anymore.

I finished watching the first season of
Hannibal. I like it a lot. It's done artistically (the music, the food preparation scenes, etc), and the acting is great. The pacing is a bit odd at times, like Abigail suddenly disappeared for entire episodes while they focus on something else. The gore didn't bother me too much, although stuff like creepy girl under the bed scared me

, and I was having breakfast while that one crime scene with contaminated food on the dinner table showed up and that was quite disturbing.

Yeah, never eat while watching. xD
It's so good though, glad you liked it!

Mads Mikkelsen is so awesome. I might try to find some of his movies, even though most would be in Danish xD

I'm sure there are subtitles. (:
He is pretty much amazing though, no doubt. <3

Catching up on 7 Days...
NZ humour is basically making fun of Australia, insulting politicians, joking about how much NZ sucks and... dick jokes.

So The Conjuring.... was surprisingly good.
Easily the best scary movie I've seen the past few years. And even so, overall really good still. Yay.

Man. *_* SO MUCH JAPANESE. *_* Impressive Hollywood, impressive. *o*
Man. *_*
I finally saw it today, and yes, it was quite enjoyable.
I was amused by the sound of a record being scratched when the Sexy Otona Jan song was abruptly stopped. Since when has "Onna, Kanashii, Otona" been available on vinyl?

Before
The Wolverine, I saw a trailer for
47 Ronin, which seems to bear precious little resemblance to any version of the story that I've ever read or seen before. But seeing Shibasaki Kou in a trailer for a Hollywood movie made me very happy.
