First off, that graph showing the comparison is sweet! It's simple to read and I like the presentation

Also, good job at #2!!! Damn though, that #1 spot getting 400k all of a sudden when we thought it couldve been a close match, haha its ok. Definitely have weekly #2 spot in the bag and tbh that's good enough, esp. for 12 gen debut.

Definitely expecting it to reach 100k by the end of the week, which would be great =D

Also, way the go UF planning the releases perfectly for Top 3s, and with competition that's actually meant for each group. Can't wait till the press milks H!P's 4 weeks of success =D

Congrats to MM! A drop in sales was expected as Sayu left with a lot of media attention and a dedicated fanbase. I would have been worried if °C-ute sold more than them, but this is great.


It seems the new gimmicks to sell 400k in one day are music cards and concert tickets. Come on, as if handshake tickets and multiple versions weren't gimmicky enough already. It's sad that physical media can only sell with a plus value.

I'm noticing that UF* is trying to put up promotion later rather than sooner (with the big billboard coming up for release day as opposed to a couple of weeks before) I wonder if they're trying hard to figure out a way to get longevity over a big first day. Longevity is obviously the more important of the two as that is what means you're actually a relevant group or that you've got a hit.

Also I feel like I should mention that I adore the string of promos we've gotten since Wagamama. I love that we're getting a message from MM every time. I think it's more effective for catching attention than just a photos of the girls. At least, I know that it would be effective on me.

Well there was gonna be drop. Cause I'm sure a bunch of people graduated along with Sayumi (like Masaki said)

They key will be the rest of the week to see where this ends up and what happens next single. Cause I was hoping all of the additional tie-ins and promotion would take care of some of the sales drop.

Hopefully it still does with extra sales throughout the week rather than already has.

The dance to Seishun kozou has been bugging me a bit cause I... just don't get it. @_@

Interesting points, she makes.
- She did this dance at the end of last year so of course she didn't know any details back then, but in a way she got the feeling that this dance might be reflecting how Tsunku feels/felt at the time. The storm of emotions he must be going through.
- Since it's the first single with 12th gen, the theme was "fighting" "aggressiveness" and "not giving up" thus there are many "fighting poses" for the dance moves.
- Moves that are supposed to reflect the "keep going forward no matter what".
- Setting the image of Morning Musume. '15 that they will strongly keep going forward.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't One Two Three sell 50-60k on the first day? And they ended in 100k. I have no doubt that MM15 will atleast make it to 110k by the time it stops charting.
