in the livestream last week, they mentioned the Statue of Liberty pose (Jiyuu no Megami)

Oh damnnnnnn
My reaction:
at 2:01: "Okay, the song is nice, chorus is nice, but missing something..."
at 3:24: "Holy shit Maachan wtf"
at 3:44: "Wait, this is the last chorus but there's still 1:20 left to go..."
at 3:50: "Yay, nice modulation!"
at 4:04: "WHY COULDN'T ALL THE CHORUSES BE LIKE THIS T-T"
at 4:16: "That was a nice so-WWWWWHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT"
Also, I love the way they say "Isagiyoku", it's so cute.
What's the last H!P surprise that gave a nice surprise like this? lol. I like it a lot! good job.

Dunno if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but maaan MM。's a-sides have been boring lately. They're not like, absolutely terrible, they just don't stick out. Furari Ginza is almost a good song but it's not quite there. Also, a lot of them sound kinda vaguely similar.
I just want some more variety. Gimme a cute idol song. Or something rock-ish. MM。doesn't need to do slower EDM every single fucking a-side, lol.
And they rely on Fukumura/Sakura/Masaki far too much to carry the group but MM。's always had that problem so whatever I guess.

Jiyuu na Kuni Dakara was awesome!!
It totally fits in with this month's spooky feel. The girls do a really good job of working the concept too.
It's supposed to be chaotic and a feeling of being restricted. So I think the video makes perfect sense to me.
It was low budget, but it was done really well!
I prefer these school girl outfits over the A Gonna outfits for sure.

Yoshiko choreographed the Jiyuu na Kuni Dakara dance. She said Tsunku asked her to create the "Statue of Liberty" pose in their cross formation after he visited New York earlier this year. She personally likes this type of song. She hopes the choreography and pose makes it easier for kids and adults (like the Downtown guys from HEY! HEY! NEO!) to imitate. Yoshiko says she was surprised they wore a different outfit for the MV shoot than originally planned.
