So some guys in 2ch are making a fuss about how Ai no Gundan's chorus sounds very similar to one of BoA's songs called Lady Galaxy.

I can hear some similarities for about 10-15seconds after the 45sec mark but I think it's laughably reaching to kick up a storm over this lol
Not that I know much about musical technicalities to begin with but at any rate.... what do you guys think? Is it enough to raise eyebrows or god forbid, cause a legitimate plagiarism issue? I really hope not

Hm... I knew about BoA's Lady Galaxy before but those songs sound nothing alike. I know Tsunku blatantly references popular songs but a random album track with a generic beat? Really? Can someone even make an original beat nowadays anyway?

My mom was playing My Sharona in the living room today and it's completely obvious MM's Aisha Loan de ripped off the intro melody. I only like that song because it sounds like Aisha Loan de, honestly. The beloved car became the beloved Sharona.

I'm a (used to be huge) fan of BoA, and definitely during the Made in Twenty time period but I don't hear it. I agree with Mixi that if anything they just both sound like very generic beats.
