Today on Mezamashi TV morning news, Morning Musume.'18 is ranked #5 on Mezamashi's Twitter video rankings for something called "Bakushou! Aisatsu video" (Burst out laughing! Greeting video". They weren't specific what video it was.

The camerawork has been on point and more dynamic lately. Love how they gave Morning Musume. '18 the freedom to work those cameras like cats who want attention in a gravure shoot.

I don't even mind the set of paper because the camera is so focused moving fast around the girls and their expressions. The lighting in the dance shot is cool.

I still don't understand the set design beyond the dance shot, but they don't bother me. Plus I enjoyed some of those ducking and sliding behind the curtain shots.

Yeah, now I can barely pay attention to the set because the girls are all over the camera. Instrumental is kicking my ass harder than in the preview. They're all so cool... until the big dance break, but the cool turns back on after that! (lol) Standouts for me are Ayumi, the sexy cat 4 singles late, Eripon, who doesn't care if she invades the camera's personal space, and Kaede, who is too cool to even move beyond that one shot where she steps toward the camera. Everyone is killin' it, though.

Both MVs are hands down amazing. It’s such a Morning Musume single. Furari Ginza reminds me of an older style back like when they made MVs like I wish (although I also think of first gen s/mileage’s MVs) and then Jiyuu na Kuni Dakara is EDM Morning Musume at its finest. It’s an all around A+ for me.

Mizuki says once the MVs are completed, the members all get together to watch it for the first time and everyone's reaction is like "Oooh!" "Kyah!" "Wow!" "So Cute!" "So Cool!". With everyone's big reactions, its fun to watch it together. With friends and fans, its fun to watch them together too.

Mizuki, Eripon, Harunan had a shoot for The Television magazine today. They had a super fun Pajama Party and talk about various things in the interview. Release is on 10/24, same day as the new single.

Ayumi says although the song's MV is about the world, it is not school related. They wore uniforms anyway (because its a free country). She talks about having the freedom to do whatever you want. Do not hold yourself back and let yourself free. It feels cool to have freedom, but freedom is also free and difficult. Her interpretation of Tsunku's lyrics.

I find the paper set to be rather distracting. I prefer the song overall to Furari, but I don't like the key changes.
