The performance wasn't that bad.

Going only on those pictures of them in-action, I think they work together very well visually. I was pleasantly surprised scrolling through and seeing the pictures. The way they look together definitely gives off a different vibe than Kobushi for me, which will make it even more interesting/fun to see them develop side by side.

The performance didn't seem too bad. I'll be waiting to see if their improvement and further meshing as a group comes as quickly as it seemed to for Country Girls and Kobushi (though they did both have semi-immediate projects/goals to prepare for, which I think helped them along quite a bit).

I assume they went with that song because it was something simple and they didn't have much time to prepare a performance. In the announcement video they were all like "we don't have much time to get ready but we hope to put on a wonderful performance", so they probably didn't want to do anything with an intense dance or whatever.

It does seem weird that they didn't choose some kind of H!P song since all the other KSS were singing H!P songs, but...

I wonder if the Factories won't just end up like THE Possible. They're an egg group that was promoted in H!P concerts, but never actually debuted in H!P. I know Kobushi appears on the H!P website and all, but you never know.

I like that Tsubaki have this overall "lady-like" image with these girls and voices that do well with pop-y sounds. It's a great contrast with Kobushi being full of "characters" and more rough-and-tumble rock.

And the performance was perfectly fine lol. Especially considering how little they had time to practice. They're at the exact level they should be at, much better than the fresh non-KSS Morning Musume member level, but not yet at the "I am a major debuted band" level.
