I'll be the first to admit that I haven't been as invested in H!P or J-Pop in general but if anyone or any group is going to do it I feel like it's going to be Tsubaki.

We Jplopers tend to have the conversation that H!P tends to debut girls that are on another level than other idol groups (H!P back girls would easily be front girls under different make) but this doubly true of Tsubaki. Beyond a few girls (like Mao) who get lines somewhat disproportionately more Tsubaki also has very good line distribution and hell, they all deserve it. Tsubaki in general definitely have an "It" factor that dare I say feels similar to what C-ute had.

Anyway, speaking of mistaken identity, I dunno if there's something wrong with my memory or not but to me Ami looks like an entirely different person. I literally had to figure out who she was via process of elimination. Like, the shape of her face and mouth seems different, and her teeth are definitely different without question.

Seems like her braces made an even bigger impact than realized.

That being said, this is so meta and I'm super into it. Interesting to see the dynamic of the girls in the middle who are very excitable through versus the girls are on periphery who are much more solemn.

(Somewhat understandable though since the girls in the middle are the ones with significant screen time.)

^Rather than it being about screentime, to be it just shows the ages of the girls and the different types of personalities. Ogata is quite a serious person and that shows here where she's quiet and (most likely) studies herself and the general product throughout the video. While Akiyama and Tanimoto are more easygoing and loud, etc.
