Cutest/Coolest/Hottest/etc H!P member photos

^ i feel like there's something about her face that just doesn't come across in studio photos (like official UF photos) that make me think she looks plain. like the difference between this (once it loads) and this. in off-shot photos, blog photos and obviously even more so in person she looks great, but in studio photos i think it flattens the dimensions of her face and also doesn't you can't appreciate what great skin she has (which is true for most of the H!P girls, like goddamn Miya, her skin is probably as smooth as a baby's). also her hair has been the same (or a variation of the same, a la Reina) for so long, i miss when she would switch it up more.

certainly she's pretty either way (what i wouldn't give to look like any of these girls, when it comes down to it ), but just by H!P standards she doesn't stand out to me in her studio photos. and that's mostly what i see (through DMM merch) because i don't check up on her much.

I think some of you are being influenced by "boobs" when seeing Rika's beauty, beauty may be in fact perceived as subconscious indicators of fertility. Bust and waist-to-hip ratio plays a big part.

Also, I see many of you are women. Females tend to appreciate "mature" beauty, while regarding males is the opposite, who want signs of youthfulness like smooth skin or baby-like faces. (All this is from a study paper btw, not my ideas)

Citation, please. That may be true of certain groups of young males (read "punk-ass boys who only think with their genitals"), but it certainly is not true of most men.

^^I am a girl, and I find Dawa a lot prettier than Rika. I don't think men and women differ significantly when it comes to appreciating beauty. People just have different tastes.

Since we are comparing, I'll chime in too. Rika is gorgeous and Dawa while pretty can't compare.

I would not compare Rika and Ayaka because they are two different types of characters. Besides, Dawa is 17 so she hasn't had a chance to blow us away with her sexiness (or lack thereof). I also don't think that they look that similar, but I would understand if managment made her wear bangs so that she would not be compared to Rika.

Rika at 17 was gorgeous too, she honestly hasn't changed much in the last few years. If we compare DAWA to 17 year old Rika, I'd still have to give Rika the Edge.

As if somehow having a physically perfect body doesn't really "count" in terms of beauty or is an unfair consideration? Not really seeing the point here.

Rika is hotter, Dawa is prettier.

Dawa is only "prettier" than Rika in the sense that Airi or Maimai is, ie. the fact that "pretty" is an adjective that better describes a 17 year old type of beauty than it does a 27 year old type of beauty. But loaded terms aside, from my perspective there has never been a time that Dawa was more pleasing to the eye than Rika, ever.

Not trying to slag Ayaka btw, she's a pretty enough girl. But Rika's extraordinary looking, IMO. Even back when she was 17, she was.
