Last Season of the shiny Teen years

Kitagawa Rio, who turned 19 years old this year, a member of the next generation leading the future of Morning Musume in the midst of its 25th anniversary year, will release her fourth solo photobook in four consecutive years since her debut.

This is a special book that captures Kitagawa Rio in various seasonal scenes, such as snowy winter scenes, cherry blossoms in spring, and Okinawa in summer, as her last work as a teenager. The snowy scenery in particular was realized at her request to the photographer, who, after finishing the previous work, said, "I want to shoot in the snow for the next work without fail." Unlike the calm atmosphere of spring and the energetic and lively image of summer, the tense yet warm expression on her face is a must-see.

The variety of outfits, from swimsuits to yukata, one-piece dresses, knitwear, and other outfits that match the scenery of the season, and the richness of her expression as she gradually approaches adulthood, while retaining a girlish look, are also not to be missed.

I think to myself, "I just published my third book a few days ago!" I think, "Time really flies by so fast (laughs). Since this is my last book as a teenager, I was conscious of hitting the right spot where I am not too mature, but still an older sister. I had shot all three of my previous books in Okinawa in the summer, so I suggested that I wanted to include a snowy page, and they agreed. My first snowy location shoot in my life took several times more energy than I had expected, and I learned a new way to make facial expressions in cold places. I hope you will compare this work with my past photo collections, as it is filled with early summer and winter and has a different atmosphere from my previous works!

BEYOOOOONDS /CHICA#TETSU Nishida Shiori's long-awaited second photo book will be released on August 23rd. While she has a bright and intelligent impression in BEYOOOOONDS, she is now 20 years old, and she challenges herself with beautiful expressions and glamorous figures in this work. We focused on every detail, including her outfits and atmosphere created for the various locations, such as the white pre-dawn sky, the elegant cityscape under a blue sky, and the mysterious mangrove trees with their beautiful shadows. Oda: Yes, that's right. I am the same way with newcomers, but I am sure that other people are also cramming a lot of things into their lives. So at first I only say what I can solve at the time. I try not to say anything that I can take home with me until I've settled down.

Oda: Yes. When we are shooting, I tell them things that they can put into practice right away, but if I talk about stance or Morning Musume's rules, I don't think they will be able to remember them because they are being crammed by other people, so I leave that to the "education staff," or I leave it to the adults to teach them.

-- ─ So, if the members of Morning Musume. '23 members were cats, who do you think would get along well with the Oda family cats?

Oda: Haga Akane is a balancer in Morning Musume. '23, or she balances the distance between the members very well, so I think she would be the same even if she became a cat. I think she would be able to stand up to Seira-chan, the princess of the house, play with Yoshi, fight with the bears, and sleep with her.
