Yeah, I am a little perplex why they can't get Taiki Bansei on oversea iTunes. Takui has his music on US iTunes, so it should be no problem. This basically increases people pirating the music.

I wonder if it's to do with different labels they're being released under (Takui is Zetima, ANGERME is Pony Canyon)? Even that seems a stretch, though.
Anyway, it must be something. It "should" be no problem from the info we can see, but obviously there is something holding them back, since we don't have it and Up front has gone to the extent of flat out saying it's not going up on overseas iTunes. Definitely a crap move on someone's part, though.

wait ... I didn't know that Taiki Bansei is released under Pony Canyon. That does not make any sense! Takui is under Zetima. There is no reason for them to make him write a song for an idol group under upfront and release the single with Pony Canyon ...

Okay, Pony Canyon is owned by Fuji Media Holding, who owns Fuji TV. Could this be the deal for Mechaike ending?

To avoid confusion, ANGERME (formerly known as S/mileage) is under the hachama label, thus all of their singles are under that label. Hachama is distributed by Pony Canyon. Zetima is distributed by Sony Music.
