1,300 isn't standard for MM these days. I'd say more like 2000 is their number. Nakano Sun Plaza takes about 2,200 and that's good enough I think. Some venues they do all over the country has even 3-4 floors and those are around 3000~4000 seats. It's that one hall in Osaka that only takes 1,300. But it's not good enough for a graduation imo. Nakano was too small for Koharu. JCB takes 3000 I think? They should at least try to get a date there for Gaki, they'd easily fill it.

My feelings on this mirror sb's almost exactly.
I do worry a bit for MM, since come May only 3 members will have been in MM for more than a year and a half. But I think this can work.

I also can't imagine that they wont add another date/upgrade the venue. ~1300 is ridiculous for a grad.

I wonder who will be the next H!P leader. Probably the next MM leader (Sayu) but if we speak about the longest time in H!P it would be Shimizu. I dream of the day when a H!P kids member will become the H!P leader.

Whaaaat? :crying:

Gaki was my favorite, too... Even though it's been over 10 years, it still feels too soon. xD

This was expected. The unexpected part was it being so soon. I expected her to graduate in the Fall/Winter.

And ready for the checklist?
Takahashi Ai: Budokan (two-day) Graduation Special, whole tour NAMED after her, triple A-side where one song was a solo
Niigaki Risa: Osaka 1300 people Graduation and probably a single A-side where she may or may not lead.

I expect they'll add a larger concert date though like how they did with Eri, Junjun, Linlin. I'm not expecting a ginormous venue but definitely somewhere closer to 3000.

Yeah, completely expected, it's just not the same for her without Aichan. And I keep caring less and less about Morning Musume. Sayu being leader is great, though

She was the leader for several years. Risa won't be leader for a year. It's ok for me.

I am sure they will add some dates in Tokyo. Be patient :)

But disparity in treatment is extremely easy to point out. And on the otherhand, Gaki was subleader for several years.
And I'm sure they'll add venues too.

And does anyone else feel like Morning Musume is headed towards disbandment???
:fear:

After Reina and Sayu leave, no one will be left as identifiable "Morning Musume". Sure the Wota will still exist but after Eri-JunJun-LinLin-Ai-Gaki and then Sayu and Reina leave who's left? Aika and a bunch of children??? I understand that the show keeps going on and that graduation of members is inevitable, regardless of popularity, but sooner or later something's gotta give.
