I don't even mind them keeping her hair short but at least... keep it short in a different way. Sakichy had a great short-cut and with the right styling she could still be the tomboy of the group. esp with her sporty hobbies and anime/manga preferences.

Kanon has a smaller face than Takechan (smaller cheeks?) so it didn't look as awful. But that doesn't make that cut Kanon had any better, because it wasn't. It was really bad, and I'm REALLY happy they're letting her keep it long these days.
But for Takechan it just doesn't compliment her face at all, and having a bigger face/puffier cheeks than Kanon it's way more noticeable. ): She would look great in a haircut like Sakichy had, or Yuuka in Shortcut/Booing.
