Hmm first time listening to futsuu, don't find anything strange about the lyrics. The translations makes sense enough and I can sympathize with them to a degree, pretty much because I've heard it all the time from my own bias lol... what's so unbelievable about the lyrics, if I may ask?

Honestly it doesn't sound like much of a song. At all , I get the impression more of a... hummed tune? I mean, it sounds so empty and half-finished or something. Am I making sense here? xD
Thank god for Ai wa itsumo kimi no naka ni. It's on the very opposite end of the spectrum, thankfully it's rather short so it doesn't overstay its welcome.

^ I think that is the point. The song is about idol life being so time consuming that all other desires get set aside, but there are plenty of idols that find time for acting, modeling, golfing, etc.

EDIT: Curious though, how true the lyrics are for the members. I know that people theorize that at least a few of the girls are tired of the idol life, in which case singing these lyrics is kind of a joke, if they don't actually love being an idol. I can commit to the idea that they do love it, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows.

In the context of the song from the previous verses to me it sounds like they were talking about how even though it's work, they enjoyed idol life so much they kept going for over ten years. Not thinking of it as a part time job or as a stepping stone for other career avenues (cough subtle jab at koharu lol?) like acting, modeling etc. They do it because they like it, and because they like it they happily kept pouring all their time and efforts into it up until now.

That doesn't mean of course, that they won't take other jobs or pick up other hobbies along the way... just that they won't let it distract them/tempt them away from enjoying being an idol.
