Miyazaki Yuka. she was one of my favorite from the S/m audition!! didn't she join another agency though?

No. She won an audition back in March held by Up Front.

We just didn't know which office/branch would be handling her. In the conversation about UFA's name change we found out. She will be managed by UFP, the new name for UFA.

Looking back at that audition I wonder if UF held it with the SATOYAMA movement in mind. The theme seems to centre around the environment.

The winner of the Forest Award.New Face audition was 田崎あさひさん ( Tazaki Asashi ) as shown in that oricon news link.

Both girls are now listed as UF-Promotion talent/soloist. It is interesting that they are using talents from UFP talent pool. Does this mean there is a chance for a crossover with UUG too *cross-fingers*

This would clear the confusion. Miyazaki won a different award.

a new Upfront artist has been chosen in the Upfront Music Audition. She won the "2nd Forest Award NEW. FACE audition" Her name is Tasaki Asahi, she is 16 years old from Nagasaki. She won 500,000 yen and will be training under Upfront label to debut.



also former Smileage and 10th gen auditioner Miyazaki Yuka won the Samantha Thavasa award.

@zam - I know that Yuka was from the S/mileage audition. You do realize that I was answering the question "didn't she join another agency though?" don't you?

randompasserby: Did people say that? I remember it always being said about Murota Mizuki, who was also from the S/mileage audition but didn't make it as far as Yuka.

So, I have to wonder if this means Yuka will become an H!P member (after Mano's graduation perhaps?) and not just an UF talent. I'd prefer that over a random crossover. They could even add her to the Kenshuusei.

i didn't think of Miyazaki as a JunJun clone, not like how i think of Murotan. but i do get reminded of JunJun, especially when watching footage. they've got some similarities.
