I didn't expected Kaga, but i'm happy now she has been chosen. I'm so happy for Reina, I really wanted her for MM! I'm overall really happy and excited for this gen.

Kudo won't lose to Kaede and her short hair cut. Kudo won't lose to Yokoyama Reina also from Saitama Prefecture.

Haga Akane is relieved that she still holds the title of being youngest in the group right now.

None of the Trainees I wanted to get in made it and one I was actively hoping to not get in (Kaga) did.
So this is pretty much a bust for me.

Kaga has obvious talent, but it's her personality I'm "against", however management knows her better, so hopefully she surprises me.

Really, I'm underwhelmed at the picks, but wish them luck.

Mizuki is amazed that Kaede worked so hard for 4 years in Kenshuusei. Yokoyama has also only been in Kenshuusei for a few months after not passing the first 13th gen audition (according to Mizuki)

Watching that video makes me realize Kaede pretty much knows every girl who debuted in MM who was a KSS yeah (Save for Mizuki)? That must be super weird feeling that she come in after Maria and Akane haha.

With the amount of KSS they had to choose from, people were going to get underwhelmed or upset. It's the nature of picking from such a big pool.

I'm just going to go with it. I got myself a veteran and I got my newbie. MM'17 should be fun.

I'm really just happy about the 2-person generation thing and I think it was a wise decision on UF's part. 12th gen is just starting to shine and another 4-person gen would really make MM way to crowded with relative newbies. I know they did that with 9th and 10th gen but that was really a different circumstance - as most of the Platinum Era had moved on or were getting ready to move on. This time around, we really can't look at anyone and go "Well, we know they're probably leaving soon, so...". A 2-person gen was enough to replace what was lost, get news coverage, and not overwhelm the groups current vibe.

I mentioned Mizuki, didn't include Haruka since I thought she auditioned in the 10th gen auditions, turned out it was the 11th, so cross her off the list too.
