She reminds me of Taylor Hicks. if anyone even remembers him. xD
...Raspy = meh to me.

(then again i also don't like Risako's trill thingy that many idols/female singers do...)

I was just referring to the raspiness of the voices, anyway.

I had to stop, think about what thread I was in. Go back a page or two to make sure I was in the right place.
I'm just going to rant out my opinions on this single so far. Agree or disagree, I don't care. xD
Having heard all the songs. I'd have to say, while this is a pretty good single, I still enjoyed the last one more. Going by the fact that each of these songs is different, I feel like this is a single of growth for the group. Where are we going from here? Are we going to continue as we are or are we going to try something new and how will our fans react? 10 year anniversary, brand new logo. It's a re-branding of their image.
Middle Management sounds like your standard C-ute song, GamushaLIFE and Tsugi no Kado have a more JPOP sound to them that's not very H!P and Tsugi being a more mature sounding single. When you release three songs at once, it's interesting to me to see which one the general public tends to embrace. I myself like Middle Management because it's safe, but GamushaLIFE is appealing because it's different. Tsugi no Kado, while nice and I love Takui, I just find it a bit of the boring side?
Overall I DO hope this single does well, but I wish It wasn't being release in the middle of a crap ton of other singles. (Same with J=J's but that's a different story.) I really am starting to feel overwhelmed with all this music coming out at once.
If you put together all the releases coming up you have 10 (Country Girls, Juice=Juice, C-ute and Morning Musume). That's almost like an album worth of songs! (Throw in Kobushi Factory and that's 12!).

Gamushalife is already the 3rd (imo) "general-sounding" song c-ute has put out... The first 2 for me were Bagel no ham to cheese and the second being Kokoro no sakebi... Maybe it's just me, but I hope they don't go in that direction.

Aw man I can totally see the similarity to Kokoro no Sekebi. But I think GamushaLIFE is way better. I didn't like Kokoro no Sekebi (and I hate Bagel to Ham ni Cheese ugh)

(Bagel to Ham ni Cheese was honestly meant for C-ute's 7th album, not their 8th. It would've fit in better on the former than the latter).
This is C-ute's most solid single. Yeah, they had solid, amazing singles in the past, but for me, none of them compare to this single. They went all out for their 10th anniversary single.

I find the comparison to "Sakebi" interesting, since I love that song but "Gamusha" is firmly in the middle-ground of not caring strongly one way or the other for me.
