If I didn't know any better, I'd say that Karin is Kudo Haruka from far away.

I don't know if I like it... it sounds okay but the performance was all over the place and the sound wasn't very good for hearing the instrumental well.

To me it sounds... safe, bordering on generic (so far).
It misses some quirk. H!P songs are mostly a tad off kilter (in a good way). This sounds... normal?
I'm quite curious who wrote/composed/arranged this.
With Tsunku going hands-off on everything it seems, keeping track of who produces what is going to be doubly important.
We know Takui is capable, given that he's basically 'Tsunku junior' while still managing to add his own flair.
But the rest? They've got big shoes to fill.

My first reaction: Boooring!
And it sounds really christmas-y. Wrong season lol
I usually fall in love with B-sides so I can't wait to hear "Ca va?Ca va?".

'Tis what happens when you have someone other than Tsunku write the songs.

(or Takui

)

Wonderful World sounds pretty good, I can't wait to hear the whole song. And according to Karin, "ça va ? ça va ?" is a retro, 70s-sounding song.
Edit: Whoops, 70s, not 90s, thanks Sohee!

I don't dislike Wonderful World... but I miss the brass and cool sound that I associate with Juice=Juice. The semi-generic idol sound doesn't work for them (for me) as well.

I'm hopeful for Ça va. 70's style at least implies funky & cool.
