[07/16] °C-ute - 25th single - The Power / Kanashiki Heaven (Single Version)

Here's hoping 'The Power' is enjoyable because (and I know I'm most certainly in the minority here) I personally never quite cared for Kanashiki Heaven that much.

C-ute has had really strong sales for a while now so I'm not too worried. I would love Power to be like Aitai Aitai Aitai na. Fast paced and powerful.

Also it was a huge mistake to not make Kanashiki Heaven an A-Side back when the song was released the first time! So hey I'm all for making it a single. You guys need to see the big picture, now it can be preformed on TV shows and things like that! It's such a solid song.

I hope we can get a jump in sales somewhere towards 80k too. I know the girls can do it!

From his blog, he says that he wants Kanashiki Heaven as a single to give it a proper place in C-ute's discography (like it deserves). He realizes that fans are obviously already fully aware of the song, but that's not the point. It's popular and he wants more to see it.
The dance will be even sharper, in the chorus the other 3 girls will sing as well.
The re-arrangement has an acoustic guitar and starts off slow before going faster. This adding to the sad feeling of the song.

Personally I can't wait. Loved that song when it came out, and acoustic guitars and all? Pfft, sold just by reading that. <3


And let's not forget that, while he obviously seems energetic and healthy enough to be doing producing stuff, he is still sick and undergoing treatment. A small factor could as well be that he just hasn't been able to prepare another song for them. We should be happy they release stuff and that Tsunku is continuously involved in the releases as it is. Other places might just have hired other people to write the songs for the groups, something I for one would not be a big fan of.

I love Kanashiki Heaven, so I'm fine with this. I'm not happy to hear that the other girls will be singing more, but there's still the original version, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Seriously, I don't care about this, really, Kanashiki Heaven is a good song. I wish this version will be entirely remixed.
