Nintendo handhelds always turn out so awesome, with maybe the exception of GBC (which wasn't awful or anything, but had a really short life cycle). So yeah, I tend to prefer handhelds more not only because of the format (which is much nicer than having to glue yourself in front of a screen), but because they usually get really awesome libraries. RPGs, platformers and puzzle games feel right at home on handhelds, and since it's cheaper to develop for them they're home to more experimental, quirky, interesting concepts. That being said I like consoles (and PC) too.

PS4 will be a day one buy for me, probably.

After finished watching the anime I am kinda hooked on the SAO world. If the game is any good I might think of getting this game and a PSP for the first time. I'm a PC gamer so, handhelds are foreign to me ^^;

Can't help you there... I hated SAO

Can't find anything about the gameplay, but it doesn't look bad by any means and it's not made by some no-name developer or anything. If you enjoy SAO I guess you'd like that game. And really, PSP (and DS) is an amazing RPG system. PSP/DS >>>>>>>>>> PC+PS360Wii JRPG-wise.
Speaking of handheld RPGs, SMTIV keeps looking more awesome. Can't wait, hope Atlus will bring it by late 2013.

The gameplay clips I've seen so far don't look any better than what's already available on PCs with decent discrete graphics cards. I mean, that's certainly not bad, but what's the killer app here? The Wii had the Wiimote and Wii Sports, the Xbox 360 had the Halo franchise and (eventually) got the Kinect, and as boins said, the first PS3 had Blu-ray. Even the upcoming Steam box has, well, Steam. What's PS4's got that is going to make it be a must-buy?

That's true, really, we're at a point where graphics alone don't make any platform "special". But I don't think there's anything wrong with a "vanilla" gaming system as long as it has an appealing library, and Sony systems never struggle with 3rd party support. As for a "day one purchase" - nope in my case, unless they suddenly announce a game I really want.

^ditto. I buy gaming console for the variety of games it offers, not the hyped up gimmick and coincidentally, I never got the appeal of Halo, Kinect, or Wii in the first place

SQUEE!

Tormund Giantsbane and his men scaling the Wall (I know it's supposed to be Styr, but they're consolidating the minor characters); Robb and Catelyn arriving at Riverrun; Jaime and Brienne arriving at Harrenhal; Thoros of Myr with his flaming sword; Theon a prisoner at the Dreadfort (at least, I think that's who is in the hood); Daenerys with the Unsullied; Mance Rayder declaring war; Jon and Ygritte in the rain at Queenscrown; the Hound's trial by combat against Beric Dondarrion; the funeral of Hoster Tully; the mutiny against Lord Commander Mormont at Craster's Keep; Daenerys conquering Astapor; sooo many Lannisters at King's Landing; and of course… REVENGE.
Plus a lot of other stuff I couldn't identify without more context.

^ You may know about this already but I came across an interesting GoT blog:
http://www.tor.com/features/series/a-re ... e-and-fireFrom her summary of the 3rd chapter of Book 1:
The Lannisters are going to be trouble. This statement has been brought to you by Noshit Sherlock and the letter Duh.
