It feels like most of their new services and features are mostly geared towards the online multi-player crowd, which I've never been much for. I know that a lot of people are, and that's great for them and also for Sony, but yeah, I'll likely not be upgrading anytime soon. Hell, the main reason we caved and got a PS3 two years ago was for the BluRay player!

^ Ditto on pretty much every point. "Share" this and "streaming" that just ain't for me. I have better things to do with my limited bandwidth.
I don't get the hype over Blu-ray, either. My TV is 1080p but only 37 inches, so I can't see much improvement over regular DVDs, and I really don't appreciate how some Blu-ray discs call home and/or lock themselves to the player.

Echoing those sentiments. Gaming is becoming far to social for my tastes. I think I may need a new hobby.

Never really got into the whole multiplayer aspect of console games, I'll just play actual MMOs on my PC if I ever want to

That said, the list of third party developers they have lining up for PS4 looks more than appetizing enough for asocial jrpg heads like me

Falcom games on an actual console instead of handhelds UNF

That's not really impressing me considering how much third party support Playstation always has.

I actually wouldn't buy Sony systems if they didn't have 3rd party support considering their 1st party stuff does nothing for me.

Probably not much beyond the norm yeah, but those variety of games available and the rep of those third party developers plays a big part in deciding whether to invest in it or not for me. Probably also the reason why I''ve not touched a Nintendo system since NES

Handheld are my Jan, man. Frankly, there are so many games of like to play, but then it's like, "Oh,I have to play on Wii/PS#? Boo." Something about the portability ...I dunno. I generally don't play on the go super much, but there's something about having the whole kit and kaboodle in your hands.
BluRays are gorgeous, especially when they're 3D animated and you turn on Sports mode.

I haven't experienced them tying themselves to one player, but then I also haven't used any player but the PS3. Hmmm...

Funny thing, my Vita has never left my room for months lol. I already have few enough social activities as it is... If I start playing handheld consoles on top of all the usual distractions from smartphones during commute/travel well, bye bye all the little sights and human contacts

I love handheld or rather, Nintendos' handheld systems but I never actual play then outside of my home lol.
