^ Could be. However, if they do have to be "invited" it could just be a sign that Hello! Project is being recognized more these days. (Though it seems "The Girls Live" still makes up a large portion of TV performances for most of the groups, at least for now.)

As long as we don't know what's going on behind the scenes, being "Invited" could be interpreted in various ways.

It could be a direct invitation for the particular groups. It could also be an open invitation for any H!P group that Up Front wants to promote via this show. We've seen increased sales for all groups, it could mean that TV shows also notice that and won't mind if Up Front sends a debuting group.

Anyway, it's indeed good that various TV shows invite H!P groups. With so many popular idol groups nowadays it's not that easy to compete for the performance slots. That's probably also the reason why Up Front created "The Girls Live", to make sure that there are performances on the TV (and therefor also on the internet, even if those are illegal, they still don't delete all the performances on YouTube).
