It's not like UFA forces them to do racy shoots though (assuming that's an issue) and she's done bikini stuff tons of times for Berryz. It's still weird to me

Watch Miya's PB making and it might give some hints to why she doesn't do solo PB's anymore.
My theory is that Miya just had a bad experience when she did her first PB. Bad experience as in being extremely uncomfortable, probably traumatised her or something.
If I had to guest, it would be the shoot in the cave at the beach. That was a bit pushing it to the limits for a girl that young even if her manager was around.
Miya was probably not ready psycologically to do a solo PB at the time.

Chii who did her first solo shoot for BLT U-15 ( before she did her 1st PB ) said how scared and uncomfortable she was at the shoot. She wasn't even doing bikini shots for that mag.
Chii's reasoning was that normally the other members were around but this time she was by herself. Chii didn't indicated if her manager was present during the shooting.

On the issue of Miyabi not doing PB work, maybe it just wasn't as well recieved as they were hoping it would be?

Of course I never paid a ton of attention to Miyabi, so I guess there could have been official numbers from somewhere that were awesome and I just never saw them.
