Morning Musume leader Takahashi Ai appeared at an event for the movie “Harry Potter and the
Deathly Hallows: Part 2” on June 8th, where she showed off her love for the series via cosplay.

Since the last movie in the series officially opens in theaters on July 15th, Takahashi appeared
alongside Harry’s Japanese voice over actor Ono Kenshou to talk about the movie, and both came dressed
in their best wizard attire. “I’m really happy to be able to dress like Harry, and glad that
I can say that I love it so much,” the idol said the crowd present at the event.

Although Ono has been voice acting for the Japanese dub of Harry Potter for the all of the movies,
this event marks the first time that he’s appeared at an event like this one. “I’m super nervous,”
he admitted to the audience.

During the event, the two stars left a message about about Harry Potter on the whiteboard behind them.
Takahashi Ai wrote, “Thank you for the past ten years, Harry Potter!” Both Takahashi and Ono were
also presented with pictures of themselves from ten years ago to emphasize how long the series has
been around.
