Thanks... I'm fine, nobody I know was affected, far as I'm aware, though of course everyone is feeling anxious. Hopefully they'll catch the perpetrator soon.

As someone who rides the train everywhere around DC, I just hate that it now feels a little less safe. I mean, I still don't stand too close to the edge of the platform since an Asian woman was pushed off in NYC, and I know of other Asian women that feel the same way. In fact, I like that we still wear masks in metro stations so it's harder for random people to tell that I'm Asian (I don't think my eyes give it away).


In other news, I'm in Atlanta for a few days, and while I love this city, it really needs serious help in the traffic and public transportation departments.

Atlanta traffic is sooo bad. It just keeps getting worse despite them constantly doing construction on the interstates. I-285 is the biggest offender.
