Morning Musume went to The Johnson Space Center after the Con.
My friends and I just happened to go because it's always been my dream to go and they wanted to also see it. Like you have no idea how much of a NASA geek I am.
Two of my favorite things in one place. I'm beside myself.
I'll share the full story when I have a full battery on my phone.

They went to Johnson Space Center! That's the happiness news for an astronomer and an wota like me.

My Mom is not in good health right now so she inquired about handicap help and ended up getting to go in first, so they got first row. Seems like some of the fans helped them out a bit too and gave my sis a nice lightstick. But partway through my Mom's health acted up and she had to leave the concert, had to go to the first aid booth (she had been in the hospital the week before). The surrounding fans were so helpful and supportive though that she felt comfortable leaving my 13 year old sister there alone.
Don't know if any of them were from here or lurk so I wanted to extend my thanks for helping to make my sister's life
Also she met Aika, the lucky duck!
I hope your mom feels better soon!
I'm glad your sister had a good time. My friend Phil actually posted about giving a younger girl who was with their mother a light stick on the MM '16 in Houston fb page!
There was this girl with her mom at the concert. She did not have a penlight, so I gave one of mine to keep (cause I had this feeling this was her first MM concert).
At my first MM concert, someone did the same thing to me.
MM has given me so much. And the fans have too.
If she happens to be a fan as long as I have, I'm hoping she will return the favor to someone else in the future and help continue this wonderful thing.

It is very hard to express what I felt in Houston. "Thank you." is not enough. I was more than happy. Glad to meet you and talk with you. As you know Morning Musume。'16 is the greatest group!! They did well in here.
And thank you so so so much for "Aika call". I was a bit shy but I was really happy, you made my days. How precious time I had. I never forget. Promise, we will see you soon.

1st signing:
Eripon happi signed
Mizupon: she made a pouty face.
Eripon: I told her I love her too much, I was so star struck.
Zukki: I told her congratulations on her graduation. And thanked her
Haruna & Masaki & kudo & ayumi - I was so nervous I really just said hi and thank you.
Sakura: so nervous I just said hi
Haachin: I told her she was my number two and she seemed happy and I told her she was beautiful
Miki: she asked me where I was from. I told her Arizona. She said she wanted to go and I told her she should to see the Grand Canyon
Maria&akane I told them they were cute and thanked them.
First one was huge blur
Second:
Mizupon: I told her good morning and asked how she is and said I am good too
Eripon: it was rude and I didn't mean to but I started talking to Eripon while mizupon was still writing. I told her she did good last night and that she was pretty and cute and cool and she said yea yea yea and made a lil hand motion like stop stop lol. But I told her no really you were great and she thanked me. I told her I really love her and she thanked me and smiled.
Zukki: again congratulations on your graduation. Asked her if she was excited for the future and she said yes
Haruna: she thought my shirt was cute (super pass free shirt) I told her last night she was very sexy and that made her very happy
Daishii: I asked her if she was the sheriff and she saluted me and I said she danced cool
Masaki: I told her she was very cute last night
Duu: I asked her if she was having fun and that she is very cool
Sakura: I told her her voice was so pretty.
Haachin: I asked her if she was having fun, I told her she was so pretty last night and that she was so energetic
Miki: I told her how cool it was that she was on the left then the right. She said she wanted to be center but she couldn't. I told her it's ok she did great
Maria; I told her it's ok you can love sayumi and told her she was cute. She is really adorable
Akane: I told her she was cute and asked if she was having fun.
Aika was filming nearly the whole time so I really tried to keep talking to the girls so it wasn't too awkward, I suppose the camera gave me more confidence
I had to line up for Johnny yong Bosch and so for about 30 min I was two feet in front of 12ki. I told Maria she was cute as well as akane, who was playing with her pen. I told Haachin that we would miss her and she had to ask miki to translate and we three made crying faces. When they all were leaving I couldn't be in the group picture but I waved to Eripon and caught her attention.

Since my sister described it as a 'king glow stick' (which made me go: SOMEONE JUST GAVE HER A KINGBLADE!?) so very likely it was her, either way that's such an amazing thing to do. I wish I could have been there to guide her, like I feel guilty about being in Japan right now. So people like that truly warm my heart. (;_;)
She'll remember her first concert forever.

Isn't that like
double triple the NY concert? Or am I wrong about that

NY was ~2000, LA was ~4000.
