People scoff at shadow H!P, but shadow H!P continues and grows. Shadow H!P is strong.

And yes, I believe this new unit will be shadow H!P because there would be more PR and news reports if it was official H!P. Or at least it will be shadow H!P while it tries to build a fan base...

The defining characteristic of official H!P is that it's produced by Tsunku. It's his music and creative direction. But if his workload is limited by illness and/or Up-Front has realized it needs a contingency plan, then I have a hunch the line between shadow H!P and official H!P will become blurrier.

The next few years could be very interesting.

Don't THE Possible sell like 15k-20k? That's pretty damn good. And with all that promotion UUG gets, if they made a major debut, they'd probably sell alot too. Kikka's doing good too, but Kitahara... I don't even know what's going on with her.

I don't even care if they next unit is apart of Shadow H!P, that'd be great for me. As long as some of my favorites debut, I'm good.

Wow! Well, there goes the Manaka hype! Name change is a good idea cause it won't be mistaken for an MM subgroup, it won't be compared to Morning Musume all the time, and it can distinguish itself from Country Musume while still having CM as the history/origin of their group.

Morito in those photos looks like a hybrid of Manaka and Ruru...

I think Yamaki Risa has very good charisma out of stage. You can see her being an MC on one of C-ute's DVD Magazine. She would be a good public speaker for the group, and she has this actress-like aura that is more appealing to the mass.

^^ I doubt another new group now. What with Smilege being the new KSS-fed group, this new Country Girls group is likely the replacement for Berryz in the H!P lineup. If it's anything like the original Country Musume, it will also have gens that are likely to include KSS as well.

If you think in term of money, the budget for this group could come from Satoda Mai's salary, which she probably got a cut because she cannot work from NYC. Being with the agency for a long time, her salary is more than enough to pay for 5 starting idols, and the group will generate revenue. My point is that UF should still have money from Berryz's salary cut after they go hiatus.

To me, H!P is H!P, regardless if produced by Tsunku or not, be it original County Musume, Mano or even Yuki Maeda, which where all produced by others. (correct me if wrong)

I would concider Bitter&Sweet, LoVendoR, The Possible and Up Up Girls as "Shadow H!P. Acts that are not part of H!P, but interact semi frequently with H!P, like concerts, event and recently doing bits on The Girls Live.

Also, who scoffs at Shadow H!P?
