It would've been cool if it had been an a Western talent search style show where contestants would get voted out/out-voted weekly with each week having a different challenge using different recent MM songs. Better exposure for both MM and the director contestants, more drama, closer viewer following. But I understand it wouldn't be possible with the girls' schedules and it would cost so much money to make.

I'd guess I've only watched the winning MV in a LQ ver. before, maybe on my phone... but I had completely remembered Mizuki being stuck in a block of cheese while she's running away, rather than a shoji screen.

on 4/7, The Hello Shop in Akihabara will host a special talk show events for Fuji TV's The BIG CHANCE winner, Shibue Shuhei. He will to speak about his MV work on "Seishun kozou ga naiteiru" MV (Another Version). Selected Morning Musume. '15 members will be there due to scheduling. There will be 3 events, 6:30pm, 7:30, 8:30pm

today at the first of three H!P Shop events for the MV, Suzuki Kanon and Sato Masaki were guests. They wore their tour T-shirts. MV will be up today probably after the 3 events are done.

I think it's very well made.

If we watch it way more often than the other version, it might be bumped up on youtube's recommendation algorithm so it doesn't have to be the official MV for it to be the de-facto MV. If it gets an avalanche of attention online, the mainstream media in Japan (where these things would actually matter) might pick up on it.

Also, this director really has a thing for DaVinci. I'd call him that if this ushers in a MM Renaissance in terms of media presence.

Yay for using that pink-camo fabric. I really liked it when they used that in concert.
