Wow.
All that promotion and they only managed that many? I was expecting more to be honest. I'm a little shocked but I'm sure the Billboard numbers will be much better. (I HOPE!)

In a way, I'm glad it wasn't SUPER inflated. If they suddenly got AKB style numbers, I probably would have been a little upset knowing where the majority of those singles were going to end up.

BUT, bright side. I'm happy for the girls and the company for all they did to promote this single. I'm sure it wasn't easy logistically.

That assumes the fanbases for the various groups don't overlap, and that the sales of this release should approach the sum of fanbases. I don't think that's true, however; I think most people who are fans of H!P in general are fans of more than one group within H!P. So it seems right to me that the sales of this release are about the same as or a little more than the sales of a release by the flagship group.

I honestly thought the sales were lower based on how you guys were reacting to it. Thats amazing first day sales for a single. Just look at the numbers for the previous two H!P singles.
