Did he just sorta insult AKB by saying that if the groups personality is weak they have to rely on numbers because if so LOLOL.

Many many moons ago Tsunku said he wanted to keep Momusu under 16 members, looks like his ante has been upped a bit. Could you imagine a 19nin Momusu?

I wouldn't say that it's an outright insult to AKB, but yeah it can be taken that way by some fans.

I guess times are changing and Tsunku's priorities change with the times. Maybe the group being rejuvenated by the infusion of new blood the last three years openned his mind to the possibility of a bigger group. Three years, three generations, all seemingly great choices, maybe Tsunku is hoping the streak will continue. FYI, I am open to a 19 or even a 20 nin MM. But for those who value equal line distribution, that may also mean that more girls might not get to sing.
